Cancellations and refunds

On this demo nothing is paid: a room request made here asks for no money, and the UPI link it shows goes nowhere real. Below is the kind of policy a real homestay puts on this page, written for the made-up Kuhiro Ridge, so you can see what guests would read.

A sample policy

• The advance: 30% of the stay when you book online, the rest when you leave.
• Cancel 7 days or more before check-in: the whole advance is refunded.
• Cancel 2 to 6 days before: half the advance is refunded.
• Cancel within 48 hours, or don't arrive: the advance is kept.
• Roads closed or trains cancelled (landslides in the monsoon, a strike): we move your dates instead, at no charge.
• Leaving early: the nights you used are charged; ask us about the rest.

How refunds are paid

To the UPI ID or card the advance came from, within 7 working days of the cancellation.
